How Classes Work
CrossFit RedZone is proud to offer an array of classes from group work to personalize workouts catered to your skill level. Each class is an hour long and includes the Warm Up, Skill and Strength Work, Workout, Cool Down and Mobility. Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to get set up and ready, bring some water and get ready to embark on the best fitness journey around.
All of our classes have 3 prescribed levels that differ for experience and fitness goals:
The Zone is a specialized program designed to target weight loss, increase endurance, and support muscular development. The program is a full body workout that combines fast paced cardio training with interval weight training. This 60 minute class is perfect for anyone who wants to get a full hour of training without technical weight lifting.
The Zone is for everyone out there with the goal of getting in shape, lean, toned and getting fit!
Fitness Level. Perfect level for those beginning to learn CrossFit. In the Fitness Level, CrossFit RedZone trainers will teach you the proper techniques and skills you need to complete most CrossFit workouts. Check out our beginner programs by clicking here.
Performance Level. The Performance Level is for the trained and experienced CrossFit athletes. This level will push your limits in a safe but effective manner. We've got great options available - just click here!
RX+ Our RX+ Level is designed for the competitive CrossFit athlete. This level of programming involves more skill work than performance. The end goal being to compete at CrossFit events and be that next level athlete.
Competition Level. The Competition Level is for the elite CrossFit athletes. If you're interested in competing in CrossFit games or are training for limit-pushing activities, this is the level for you. See some of the great options below including our Personal Training and Individual Programs.

With the auto payment schedule your credit card/debit card/bank account will be on file using our system. With this system your monthly dues will automatically come out of your account on your start day. This is NOT a contract, you can suspend or cancel your membership with the proper 30 days written notice.
CrossFit Kids is not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit, it is geared and designed for a special population and the specific developmental needs of that population (neurological, cognitive, motor).
CrossFit Kids is a safe and organized strength and conditioning program specifically designed for kids and teens to help them develop a lifelong love of fitness. In a group setting your child will work on constantly varied, fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results that prepare them for whatever life may throw their way. The CrossFit Kids program will develop and increase your child’s competence in the 10 physical fitness domains:
- Cardiovascular & Respiratory Endurance
Experienced athletes wanted for the CrossFit RedZone Weightlifting Club!
In the CrossFit RedZone Weightlifting Club program, you will train primarily focusing on barbell movements. Some examples of movements would be the power lifts (squats, deadlifts, and presses) and the speed lifts (snatch, clean and jerk).
This program is cycled through the year and based off the goals of strength, power and speed. This is a great way to gain strength and/or take a step back from the met cons to re-group and get stronger.
Each session is coached by one of certified USAW Sport Performance Coaches.

If becoming a competitor is your goal then the CrossFit RedZone Personal/Individual Program is for you!
Individualized program design is for the person who wants the truest individualized journey. In CrossFit RedZone's Personal / Individual Program, the athlete will meet with their coach and go through an initial assessment, anthropocentric screening, goals sheet, and nutritional break down. The coach will then devise a personal program for that athlete based off the goals of the athlete.
In the CrossFit RedZone's Personal / Individual Program you will not be working with your coach each session, rather you will receive your program and perform the prescribed workouts for each session.

While our Group Coaching program is designed to meet the needs of our large and varied community, when it comes to achieving specific goals, nothing beats private coaching. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, increase strength, improve technique, prepare for an event, or just prefer a more personal setting, an individually designed CrossFit RedZone program equates to faster results.
Private Coaching is an amazingly effective and efficient way to achieve your individual fitness goals. Your coach will work with you to identify and clarify your fitness goals, assess your movement, and design a program specifically targeted at improving your deficiencies and optimizing your strengths, thereby enabling you to achieve your goals as quickly as possible.
Your private coaching experience will be tailored to your specific needs, and will include:
- Mobility exercises to improve and restore joint range of motion
- Skill-based warm-up to prepare for specific movement patterning
- Strength and conditioning exercises chosen to specifically achieve your goal
- Post-workout recovery techniques
- Nutritional guidance
- Health, wellness, and lifestyle support
Private coaching is recommended if you have been sedentary for a long period of time, are training for a specific sport or event, have significant health limitations, or just prefer the additional attention and accountability.

At CrossFit RedZone we work hand in hand with many high school and college teams preparing them for the rigors of the upcoming season, as well as keeping them strong during the season. CrossFit RedZone has worked with several Newtown High School sports teams including NHS Boys Hockey, Baseball, and Wrestling.
